What you are saying is completely true. Most young people looking for jobs are generally more interested in salary and options, however.

I think the point that Amy was trying to make, was that SOMETIMES, if a person focuses on the "Monthly Base Pay" as the number one factor, they may overlook the less obvious monetary benefits that are available.

When the length of time you plan on staying on a job is measured in months, monthly base pay can easily be the number one factor.
