Patricia, I would like to cease the debate on this - and you can respond with the last word. Now, I simply cannot let the statements go about having refineries near by and gas not being cheap. I do not know the supply demand equation in Ca for gasoline and I do not know the tax per gallon. However, to simply say there are nearby refineries and the price should below is bizzare. If they produce X gallons and the demand is X plus even 2% - what do think the price will be?

So - now we have everyone to blame. You seem to think more government intervention is an answer - I believe more government is never an answer. Also, I must say I am amazed to see you indicate support for Nukes - who what a concept - if Gray got up and said Ca needs nukes.

Finally, if plants in Ca are selling out of state - is it because they got long term contracts or is it because they recieve better prices? You forgot to mention the plants that are shut down because they are not being paid. Darn - I bet you think they are not doing their civic duty.

You get the last word. I will sit back and watch. While everyone may have caused it - the loony left now owns it. It will be interesting to watch.

Have a nice weekend.

Bob
