Del,

Isn't it obvious that the shortage of electrical generation capacity in California can be fixed by destroying wilderness in Alaska?

sigh I guess I'll have to post this again. Show me a list of scientists larger than this one?

Global Warming Petition
oism.org

We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind.
There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.

The fuzzy-headed academics that have allowed themselves to be signed on to the global warming scam are simply dupes in that fraud. GWB stomped it dead, and it won't be brought back in this country unless real scientists are commissioned to do a legitimate scientific evaluation. And that evaluation will blow the lid off the global warming fraud the same way as was done to the phoney "acid rain" idea...
