a note to your CA friend.

"Guess what? all those nuts, fruits, figs, prunes and milk cows are not going to last very long when your out-of-state water supply is cut off. As for your software and planes; here in Seattle there are plenty of people and companies (many of them transplanted Californians) as there will be across the US, as you hear that loud sucking sound when those Californian companies suddenly loose their allegiance to the "Golden State"."

ps: those persimmons are going to be all the more bitter when you don't have any water to quench your thirst
