Fidelity money funds are insured up to 100k

From the Fidelity prospectus (Money Market Funds):

"Redemption proceeds may be paid in securities or other property rather than in cash if FMR determines it is in the
best interests of a fund."

I use Fidelity and think they conservatively manage risk. They have more restrictive margin rules than most other brokers, allowing up to 50% margin and they disallow on certain securities altogether. But it doesnt make them immune from an all out bank crisis. The government only insures up to 100k.
