My guess is that AMD may have encouraged, supported, and even suggested the complaints, but that some other company(s) had to make it. The complaint sounds like it was alleging "tying" (don't offer AMD chips in a "corporate" machine or we won't sell you any Pentiums). Since AMD doesn't buy from Intel, they can't very well make such a complaint.
