Since AMD doesn't buy from Intel, they can't very well make such a complaint.

Dan

Sure.... Right.... That's why, when AMD and VIA were asked if they made the complaint, they didn't deny it. Instead, they both "Declined Comment". If you're innocent, you say so.

Definition: Decline Comment - They did it, but I don't want to admit it, because it will make them look like the low life losers, that they are.

Read the Article. The EU investigation involves cooperative advertising payments for Intel Inside and licensing of the P6 bus.

"Activities under investigation include Intel's licensing agreements with PC makers and retailers and the rebates it grants these other companies in return for their loyalty, she [EU spokeswoman] said."

"The complaint refers specifically to the bus, which connects the microprocessor chip with the motherboard inside a PC."

The notion that agreements with OEM's to exclude AMD processors exist is just a Droid fantasy. Neither the FTC in its decade long investigation nor anyone else has found any evidence of this. The concept of a conspiracy to exclude AMD processors was authored by Jerry Sanders as an excuse for AMD failures, dutifully repeated by the Droids.

The proof offered is generally in the form that an AMD salesman said that his cousin said that his brother said that a design engineer said...
