"Faith is when you believe something you have no reason to believe." No Karen, that's merely how you chose to (mis)characterize it. Christianity is historic and evidential. Paul does not encourage a "blind leap" into a dark chasm. Rather he says if Jesus did not rise from the dead, as we have told you, then discount everything else we say as also being untrue. That hardly sounds like he's saying "just believe". No, he says there are still many eyewitnesses still living, go ask them, check it out, do your own investigation and see if these things are not so. I have been asked to meet an impossible burden of "proof", all I pointed out, that verification of historical events is impossible since by their very nature, they are non-repeatable. Therefore a different type of "proof" is required. Got to run for now. Greg
