Many moons before Clinton came into office...financial analysts and market strategists have always said that the market looks at least six months ahead...I suppose they saw Bush coming.....

Clinton came in during a boom and left a mess....

That's really funny...I watched a taped interview of George Bush Sr. a few months ago where he was blaming Greenspan for losing the election for him....not pushing down interest rates fast enough to get out of the recession in time for the election...

It looks like Greenspan may have tried to make up for it...by jacking up interest rates prior to the election. Remember how worried ol' Al was about inflation, when no one else could see any signs of it. Go ol' Al sure stopped that inflation didn't he? And then once Bush Jr. gets elected ol' Al can't push down interest rates fast enough. All of a sudden he goes from worried about rampant inflation to worried about a recession to nearly the day that Bush Jr. gets elected...pretty remarkable coincidence...
