Lars;

I expect better from you....

1. All three network outages occurred in one building in our El Segundo offices and were the result of running XP on certain equipment from a third-party vendor," Choquette said. "As such, even though the equipment is the problem rather than the software, we decided that removing the software was the best way to resolve the situation."

2. If nothing else, Microsoft's "wise decision" proves that "USB 2.0 isn't ready yet," Reynolds said. "We've had demonstrations of proof of concepts, but without a plethora of products out in the marketplace it is difficult to gauge it. At this point, it doesn't make a lot of sense for Microsoft to put in a set of drivers that are not debugged and fully qualified."

Trouble ahead? Why do I remember Windows 2000 beta crashing my roaming account?
zdnet.com

Microsoft uses a lot of power right now:

zdnet.com

and it does not include bluetooth support. Every time they don't include something, they get more enemies. Unless they have come to the knowledge that Windows is not alone on the desktop any more, and they want to be seen as high-quality instead of high-volume. Since many people still use Windows 95, the life of Windows XP could be until later than 2006. At that time, Windows XP still has to compare with the latest Linux... (just like Windows 95 is compared with the latest Linux today, because Linux doesn't cost a penny to upgrade).

There is NO Bluetooth nor USB 2.0 device available to support. Why waste the resources on something non-exist. Maybe open source has lot of free time can support it.
