Agreed. Just to clarify, I'm still wary of what a blow-up at IBM would have on the market, more so than MOT. To be long, I think one would have to expect a better environment in 2002.
By the way, the price of gasoline went up 10 cents here since my last post; 149.9 self-serve.
Glad I don't have a Range Rover.

but wary of the sucker's rally just b/4 earnings season, as as earnings and CC's come in, with crap going forward view, a repeat of one by one the techs getting taken anew to the woodshed.

This is indeed the monthy sucker's rally.
Stocks were well below max pain, and too many PUTs were in the green. Now we rally back to max pain then we start the next leg down. This rally could go on another day or another week. But that is it. All it will do is add fuel for the next leg down.

Sitting mainly in cash.
