<OT> Might be a long night here in Tornado Alley. I watched the local TV weather 10 minutes ago, and there was nothing on radar to our south or west. Now I can see almost constant flashes just to our southwest, and the thunder is getting louder.
While on OT here, I'll mention that a local school district next term will "issue" Dogway laptops to students for homework assignments. It's my understanding that MSFT is picking up the tab for the OS, related software and MSN net access. Sounds to me like a good way to promote computer literacy.

Big blue flash outside my kitchen window. Good night, all.

I'd love to see this thing keep accelerating upwards.

The higher the better over the next few trading days. Slow and steady would worry me, this stuff is bear food.

BEAS is a trip. It roasted the longs, and now the shorts are getting whipped. Never ceases to entertain, like a cobra, watch it carefully or you are dead.

I think you are under estimating the power of the psychological component has in pricing of the market and the market's ability to look beyond now. The market is not looking at how bad it is now, it looking to the end of the year, nine months out. Every little hint we get of it not being as bad as you see it to be, will only add to the bullishness. If we so happen to go through earning season without smashing right back down, the bearish case will be overwhelmed. Those that do not see it will be left behind, sweating bullets, worrying about getting in, missing out on a time that is truly the easiest of times to be long.

Ah, yes...now RIMM's bogus pop A/H is abating ... <g>

Check out patron's posts on CFZ --- if you can read them...appearing in some strange font/point size for me.

His are the only ones that look like this that I've seen. SI prob?

[EDIT: that was my "PEBKAC" problem -- not SI (Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Customer) <g>
Patron used a 'fixed font' feature to copy the RIMM data in format]

NTAP: What a joke. And to think I once held the stock. Traded 02 LEAPs in somewhere around the $110s. LOL.
