I honestly hadn't seen those reports. Quite obviously, I am mistaken; AMD has demoed Palomino chips >900MHz - completely contrary to my claim ;-)

Just to be sure: Was it actually possible to look inside the case of the 1.5GHz Palominos?

Now, one last point about the latter part of your statement above:

I thought these 900MHz chips were demoed with no fan. How can there be heat issues then?
