P,
Good point...5 years ago Cell phones stunk, I guess my question is how much better can they be made and is it worth the cost when you will be giving it away? My feeling is this web surfing phone thing is the peak in the cell phone trend. Sure few will buy the next upgrade for their phone but most just don't need it, they will buy or get for free the older ones and those are the ones sold in volumes at very low prices. It's similar to the PC industry of today....people with a 750mhz machine are not going to upgrade to a 1.2GZ just beacuse..their is not much difference in performance for them to justify it. This was not the case when going from a 486x based maching to Pentium or from a P to PII or now the T-birds from AMD. This is where IMO INTC's problems of today show up, why spend the extra dough for a P3 or P4 today when you can get the same performance from an AMD box for a few 100 bux less?
