William, do you believe they feel that they have to buy because of a rally?

A rally could be a bear trap. There is no way that I can know, but one guy on Rukeyser
last Friday night suggested that when the market rallies that many people who haven't
sold may take the opportunity to do so.

Still, I think these markets must be close to bottom.

I think there has been a major effort to save this bubble by pumping liquidity from poor quality credit (credit card debt and mortgage refinancing boom). This has
worked in the past, now it won't. A major sell-off is in now the cards for the bond market and the dollar. Then your SCYR will move below 1 once again. A bear market this is. We had the soaring bond market feeding stocks on the way up - here we go in reverse.
