We had a spike here locally in gasoline prices too. Interest rates moving up....

My theory is China is buying up all the gold. He who owns the gold.....
Why bother with missles and ships and all that when for a fraction of the cost you can just cause a massive derivative/ bank crisis. That would do more to wound the striking power of the US than any weapons.

China moves slowly like a tiger...
