You're mixing liberalism and leftist. Do you think men who about to have their child aborted are victims and should be able to take a woman to court to stop it, or refuse child support?

And do you think that someone is robbed is a victim of a crime? but ultimately, hopefully, a survivor of that crime?

There ARE aggressors in this world. There are people who would keep others down. To say otherwise is to be naive or to lie. One or the other.

To accept that one has suffered from prejudice or whatever form of victimization, is just to face reality, then one goes on to rise, and to thrive.

And to not worry if the aggressor is bothered by their loss of power.

Then comes equality.

People seldom give up power willingly or without a fight.

Some see the light. Glory be. Some never do.

I don't see any professional victims on this board and there are both liberals and leftists here, so maybe your opinion is skewed?

So you think to be a leftist these days is not a good thing?
It means to have a victim mentality? So what... you don't think much of leftists? Why don't you discuss that on the porch? Doesn't sound like you think much of leftists these days.

I have a very clear idea what it means to be a leftist. But why discuss it with someone who is dismissive and lacking in understanding of the tasks at hand? There is nothing to be gained, like X said earlier today.

This isn't the 60's. It's 40 years later.

Time to let the past go, and move on.

There is a place where a man or "person" can live in Utopian surroundings, and complete certainty of mind. In this special place you can pretend you are Christ, Ghandi or Moses, it's called a lunatic asylum. There is a freedom the hippies and socialists never dreamed of.

The liberalism of the 60's was much better than the pretend version today. The pretend version today with their designer hippy clothes don't have a clue what it was really like. The only new thing to come along is "goth" and I have no idea where from.
