We would probably both call ourselves left, or liberal- and yet we are very different. Similar in some ways, but different in so many others. I wonder what primarily defines our liberal/left nature? For me it isn't really group identity. It is probably more anti group identity. I know that I do NOT like what is in the right/conservative platform, so I guess I am primarily reacting to not liking that.
