Digital Gas Canada to Partner on Contracts to Commercialize Coal, Oil &Gas, Energy and Special Projects with Shenzhen Energy Resources of Shenzhen, PRC CALGARY, ALBERTA, APR 12, 2001 (CCN Newswire via COMTEX) -- Digital Gas Canada, Inc. ("Digital") of Calgary, Alberta has been invited to partner with Shenzhen Energy Resources Development Co. Ltd. ("Shenzen Energy") of Shenzhen, PRC on Shenzhen's contracts to commercialize coal, oil & gas and energy for the the City of Fushan in the Province of Lioaning, PRC. Digital Gas Canada has agreed to hold formal meetings in Hong Kong and Fushan, PRC with Shenzhen Energy at the earliest possible date. The featured contract is for the extraction of methane gas from coal deposits in and around the City of Fushan. Digital plans to utilize its world-class enhancement team, as well as Saitech Aperture Imaging Technologies, Inc. ("Saitech") of Calgary, Alberta on this and the other contracts that Shenzhen has offered participation in. The City of Fushan has need for energy and for products and technologies to improve the quality and/or performance of coal, oil, gas and other resources and an additional need to improve its municipal infrastructure. Digital has agreed to sign a secondary contract to assist Shenzhen to source Western products, technologies, manufacturing and design-build expertise on a variety of infrastructure projects for the City of Fushan, situated in eastern Liaoning Province, Fushun is one of China 31 1argest cities. It is 45 km. to Shenyang the provincial capital, and has a population of 2,268,100, land an area of l0,816 sq km., including 675 sq km of the city proper. It consists of four districts and three counties under its jurisdiction. Fushun is an industrial city of tremaendous strength with a complete range of enterprises including petroleum, chemicals, metallurgy, coal. machinery, electronics, electric power, light industries and textiles, and with raw and semi-finished materials industries as its mainstay.
