Sorry, momentarily forgot I was on the humor thread. Here's the objoke I missed the first time: When does Donald Duck wake up? At the quack of dawn!! Now, to answer your question -- why, out here where I live. I don't know a single person with a burglar alarm, and most of our neighbors still don't bother to lock their doors. We don't on weekends, but we do when people know we're going to be at work all day. Now the objoke for this post: What did the scientist say when he discovered a forgotten sausage buried in his freezer? I found the missing link!!
