Why is it wrong to express sympathy for the loss of a human life?

I mean, that is all Bush did. Is that an act of weakness?

You know, we spy on England. Do you think they would hold hostage crew members of an aircraft that was forced to make an emergency landing on their shores? Lol that would be ridiculous. China was wrong. And they admitted it by letting our servicement go.

Dear Murali, in the past we have spoke about the English language and the meaning of words. To this American the words spoken and quoted and the words of the letter from the Ambassador to the Chinese in no way shape or form constitute an apology. Look up the word sorry and apology. If one uses the word sorry without expressly stating the taking of responsibility then one has not apologized.

There was a zero admission that the US did anything wrong.
Any who argue this just demonstrate a lack of comprehension of what was said. In America the use of the word sorry or regret is an accepted civil way of expressing empathy and compassion for the loss of others. SOrrow or regret in no way by itself conveys any admission of guilt or responsibility.

I still say that no matter what was said the Chinese have officially demonstrated a primative stupid understanding of civil and decent behavior in whining about the fact that the Chinese are apparently to stupid to have in place the ability to comprehend an international mayday.

If they ain't stupid then they are liars. I see that as an enormous propaganda defeat and loss of face.

Do you think that tons of independent confirmation of the mayday calls is not available. Do you think that recorded radar data and other sensor data would not confirm the account of the American Pilot. Have the Chinese had the other Chinese Pilot testify openly as to what he saw.

The Chinese cannot because as soon as or if he lies then the data comes out and he would be shown a liar.

Do the Chinese have radar tracks of what happened ??
Will they make them public?

Folks with half a brain know what happened and what happened is the Chinese Military had the head up their butts. Because of this all Chinese are covered with dung. Many Americans don't like to deal as much with folks who smell bad. Me I smell good deals for America.

I am very sorry you, and so many others, misunderstood our ambassador's letter to the Chinese.

Do you think I just apologized to you?

Why don't you take your sorry excuse for logic and put it where the sun don't shine.

Did I just apologize to you?
