Niceguy, The new 50% price cuts will help the P4 in the consumer desktop space where buyers are unaware of the issues. On the P3 front, there was an ad in the Oregonian yesterday from CompUSA. They are selling an eMachines 1 Ghz P3 system for $749 with CD-RW. This is after a bunch of rebates, but does not include the typical $400 internet subscription requirement. In fact, one year of MSN is included for free. This is quite a remarkable price. It includes a 17" monitor and printer. Pravin.
