Since you intend to take the shallow road and view this incident like a soccer game, let me leave you with this score:

Chinese Air Force - One Dead Pilot, Scratch one plane.
Americans - No Casualties, one plane temporarily grounded.

Who won?

Message not included in diplomatic language: Mess with our reconnaissance, you'll end up dead.

"Boss look! The plane! The plane!"

Let's wait for more information before rushing to judgement. How much was destroyed, etc. For now, I am satisfied that the key technologies and information was destroyed.

Are you in India? Is this true?

Hard to take anyone from India serious, especially those who let their livestock run through the streets and worship them, hence, "sacred cow".
