What good is owning Qualcomm stock if you can't share in Qualcomm's profits? They don't even have share repurchases. Are you expecting some other company to take them over at some point and pay you a nice premium for their shares. What is the point in owning stock in a company if you get nothing in return?

I purchased my Nokia shares at a split adjusted basis of $2.0625 at the beginning of 1996. They are now worth 1250% more than what I paid for them. By contrast, since that approximate time, Qualcomm stock has only appreciated 700%. Additionally, my dividend this year equalled 7.5% of my initial investment. The amount of money Qualcomm has returned to its shareholders begins with a "z". The idea that a growth company can't pay out an appreciable amount of its earnings and still grow at an appreciable level is bullsh%t. You are getting ripped off, IMHO.
