i = italics on
/i = italics off
b = bold on
/b = bold off

Kicker is that any of the above have to be enclosed in a <>... no spaces.

Thats China's biggest pet peeve - they hate group activities. Do whatever you want, just do it alone. Hopefully, this will change over time.

But it doesn't mean they're particularly consistent, either. I do notice the Chinese government couldn't even cope with something as hackneyed as Falun Gong (sp?).

The greatest fear about Falun Gong was i feel the realization that China was changing and a totally free democratic China could very well be in the offing. China had lost ability to control.

The consequence of the spy plane incident is that there is a common enemy to all of China namely the US being the aggressor. If Communist China was losing control this aided her in regaining unity of her people.

Had this not of occurred the process of capitalistic once tasted begins to seed interior roots. China one day wanted total open policy the next was not sure the progress was slow but taking place. Change was happening due to the desire of an increased standard of living and the wish to not duplicate Russia.

I feel this could end up as one backward step for the people as it has returned more control to the party under the clause of the common enemy.
