Good morning Bo, Chip, and all,

I've been sweating all weekend, but not because of taxes. Took a trip with friends to Death Valley National Park.

Bo, that's exactly how I've prepared my return. In addition I've declared trading expenses on Schedule C, so that schedule shows a loss, even though the trading was profitable. It's quite different from the mark to market securities trading returns I've done for the past three years. There are issues with long term capital gains and self employment taxes that are treated differently for commodity traders. When I get it all sorted out, I'll post my take on general strategies.

The return is done, but I'll file an extension today anyway. I always do, whether I need it or not. I plan to continue the research until I'm comfortable that I have the right interpretation, and the best take on it for my situation.

Thanks for help,
Esteban
