Jim -Re: VIA data corruption fixed... Maybe there is a fix and maybe not. anandtech.com Keep in mind that it has only been tested on a limited number of configurations, but it should work.... But anyone thinking about designing an AthWipe server, if any such exist, is sure thinking hard about whether they want that kind of reliability. Or even a desktop machine. This must make Mikey Dell real anxious to rush an Athwipe design into production - NOT. He thinks those AthWipe systems are unstable... and he's right.
