If liberal means caring about the environment and not liking being mugged by the Texas fat cats that's what you can call me and I'm proud of it, however I'm much more conservative fiscally that any of these fast-buck con-artists and conservative should equal conservation. They're almost the same word. But sadly it doesn't these days, it means exploitation, waste and pollution.

The S+L debacle cost us 600 billion thanks to Reagan's deregulation gang. Now we're experiencing the same kind of looting and fleeching of the public through higher energy prices (gouging and creating at least partly artificial shortages). We will all pay for this to make the few rich. And the worst part is this time it also damages our air, water, food and wilds. For the benefit of the few costing the many. This has nothing to with with democracy, it's the product of ergregious soft-money special interest lobbying, buying candidates, intimidation, disinformation and manipulation. You can laugh at the word conspiracy, but it is. At the very least it's collusion which is supposed to be illegal. But who's going to police the energy business in the B-C Administration. They ARE in fact that business.
