This is big news, and for the life of me, I can't understand why more manufactures of electronic goods, especially ones of large products such as NT produces, are not using BTO.

<<09:08 ET Nortel Networks (NT) 16.60: Hearing from sources at Robertson Stephens that the firm is commenting on last Thursday's rumor that NT inventories had dropped to six weeks; Robbie reportedly believes that NT may start purchasing components again soon, but in small amounts; also might intend to institute a build-to-order model, which would cause a dramatic change in the Comm IC space.
