I believe you might have struck gold there mr.mark. :-)

Another question: Does anyone know how it is determined which urls are listed in the dropdown menu at the right of the address bar in IE? I know how to clear them in the registry (clearing typed urls) but can't find anywhere an explanation as to which are retained and which are not. A friend of mine likes to use this method of connecting to his most frequented sites and is trying to learn more about it.

mr mark, nice find but confuses me. >This behavior can occur if you have the Speed Disk utility from Norton System Works 2000 installed on your system. This utility, if running in the background, blocks the use of the Disk Defragmenter tool.<

Speed Disk is Norton's defragmenter and doesn't normally run in the background. The Disk Defragmenter is the Windows defragger. Why would anyone run both at the same time?
