This is a rather meaningless statement. We all anticipate some market behavior within the next few years, but nobody knows for sure. Investors who are correct about major market trends will make money and preserve their assets. The others would not.

re I suppose that if I had to make a judgement based on a still photograph of today's situation, I would be skeptical of Intel.

Is this because of:

(i) IA_64 delays ?
(ii) Anandtech's opinion on p4 ?
(iii) reminiscence of timna ?
(iv) economic issues that are not really in intel's control?
(v) Abelson's opinion ? :-)
