From a business stand pt, I think T1's are better as they generally have a 4 hr response time when down. Cable and DSL have no time frames for return service that I know of... Also, we lost DSL at one of our service centers for almost 1 month, becuase of NorthPoint in the bay area. Now PacBell is offering reduced prices to those effected...

Your Cable will depend on how many others are riding on the line where as T1 will be consistent. In the northeast a business cannot get Cable access becuase they are afraid of slowing the line considerably, or atleast that's what the cable co's are saying...
