I am still trying to figure out how the heck CSCO can write off $2.5 b of inventory.

They finished the last Q with total net inventory of $2.533 billion. For a theoretically well run company, Cisco is out of control.

just as a reminder for the think-tank on this thread that believe intel is far too conservative -- these days the bucks in the piggy bank call the shots --
