FWIW, TYX is running into heavy resistance here, but it's also above its 200 DMA for the first time since last May. Indicators look pretty overbought. Looks like it reached the objective out of a falling wedge broken in March. Should be good for a pullback, IMHO.

Thanks for the 70's comparison. I suspect that we will see more and more comparisons to the 70's as the 00's progress. Just heard on the radio this morn. that the governor here wants to raise cig. tax by .50 /pack to make up for tax revenue shortfall. With the increase in gasoline, and the sure to come increase in the other 'sin' tax, on alcohol, that should really sting Joe- 6 Pack good. Remember stag-flation??
