CB, it appears the bankrupt Gen-X will be given an "illiterate and innumerate" Gen-Y for their relief :

"So this is the 21st century to which Bill Clinton built a bridge, a nation with a growing and
entrenched lifelong chasm between those (like Chelsea Clinton) who grow up in ambitious
families and attend demanding schools, and those who don’t have such luck; a nation where
a stunning 60 percent of poor children and minority children are shoveled through the
schools and out the other end, largely illiterate and innumerate, all set for — hurrah! — that
good life at Burger King. "

I think the tail end of the boomers will be the most screwed in the system change. Gen-X has been saddled with outrageous usurious credit debt and a new bankruptcy law, and Gen-Y apparently will be worse off. Late boomers will pay for early boomers, but who'll have money to pay for the late boomer's SS or buy their portfolios. It obviously appears engineered. Question is do you think the Bush guys are for continuing this social engineering? I voted for him under the hopes that he's not.

would appreciate others comments,
Tom
