You can't believe anything you see on Thompsons. Super buy and sell messages are what institutions use to manipulate all those guys out there trading on Level 2, it's orchestrated lying. The only way you can accurately see what the blocks (institutions) are doing is through every trade analysis and this is what we do. We take a raw data feed and separate out the sizes, minus the sells from the buys and graph it.

The only way you can accurately see what the blocks (institutions) are doing is through every trade analysis and this is what we do. We take a raw data feed and separate out the sizes, minus the sells from the buys and graph it. Even if the volume is primarily from institutions you can't say that it is buying that they are doing unless you analyze the feed over time. Most believe like you do, that price is always run by blocks, sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't.
