<US$29.95 per trade >

Well if Valuetrader is right about Waterhouse on line to Canadian exchanges and I just confirmed it with my own order, then commissions will be at least that cheap. Will have to see what happens with the order, but this would be a new setup for Waterhouse. If it's not new and is something that has been available all along I'm going to be POed. The question I have is this being sent to Toronto or Vancouver or to the OTC. The later has poor executions.

American on line investors being able to easily trade Canadian markets could be a very bullish development for the juniors !!

BTW if there are fellow Americans out there staying away because of inconvenience and expense, here are the Waterhouse symbols for some the better picks. It is the CDN part of my portfolio and it needs your help <g>:

Unfortunately, Penntrade isn't licensed in all states.

Global Resource Investments can trade every market in the world, including Australia. Their site is:

gril.net

Their commission is fairly high, but they make every effort to save you money on every purchase. Another plus is that they specialize in the resource sector, especially the Canadian stocks. Their brokers are very informed and they might be able to warn one of an unsound or undesirable company. For the info they give me i don't mind the commission.
