Elmer, how about this scenario...... Itanium, which intel has been manufacturing for quite some time, and by now, probably has very good yields, goes into huge volume production, just prior to the start of McKinley ramp. a few months later, when McKinley is introduced, Itanium price drops refocus it as the "Celeron" of 64bit
