wstera_02, You can't pick & choose which rules apply As long as you allow that Carl's piece was done in the spirit of satire, none of the SI rules were broken. Some of us who are a bit dim in our perceptions, or not familiar with the players and circumstances of the Rambus saga, may have missed the rather obvious tip-offs that it was spoof, but this does not change the CLEAR intention, which, BTW, Carl PROMPTLY made explicit in a subsequent post. My original question to zeev, was to ZEEV, because there is usually some substance behind his statements -- I thought there may be an angle I hadn't considered. As it is, he hasn't responded. wily
