our NATO allies were begging us
The silence of our allies in support of the Bush policies is deafening.

--True, but superficial.--

well i was just trying to give an example of a 'remote' similarity between clinton and hitler.

--However premature the bombing, our NATO allies were begging us for action,---

it's their back yard and they should have done it themselves.

-- and both the bombing and the objective were quite limited....... --

i'm not sure how 'limited' that damage was. the whole thing hasn't played out yet.

if you look at the modern-day american democratic party planks, there are a lot of similarities with the nazi party planks.

to me the modern-day american democrats are like 'nazis without the sangfroid.'... 'big sisters' instead of 'big brothers.'

regardless of that, i contend that one day a new scapegoat will be found, and what happened then and there will happen here as well; only the symbolism and the scapegoats will be 'different.'

history repeats itself.

but in this, the kindergarten republic, most people are in denial about the violent nature of our universe. most people here are 'fat and happy.' once the food supply is cut off, there will be scapegoats and concentration camps. it's not a matter of 'if,' but of 'when.' it may not happen in my lifetime, but it will happen nonetheless.

and for the lurkers; no, i don't have any guns and i don't belong to any militia. G-d (as i understand Him) is my keeper.
