Those gaps are a little worrisome, but there is no law that says they have to be filled. One other thing to add to the bullish scenario- Money is literally fleeing from treasuries the last several days- it appears to be heading into stocks..

A lot of the recent gaps leapt over trendlines or other resistance. Don't know if that lends credence to breakaway gaps that force short covering.
