For what it's worth, the so-called value-oriented money managers were predicting this rally a few days ago and are now on radio advising all to "take advantage of it by selling any crazy high-PE stuff you own."

I could see it building in the NDX, SOX and DOW yesterday, because I was short early yesterday, was getting nervous holding short, and then reversed and went long when I saw the steady, if very slow buying building, so somebody must have had a good idea, like some of the big money center banks that are heavy players in the index futures. Mny of these banks have some very bad loans on the books, so maybe the FED threw them 2 bones, a cheaper wholesale dollar price and some futures gains to offset the loans they will be forced to change from non-performing to total loss?

This FED cut begs the question, what do they know that we don't? I am skeptical, but happy.
