Clinton had no intention of balancing the budget

Clinton pushed the 1993 Deficit Reduction Act through Congress at tremendous political expense. That bill cost the Democrats control of Congress in 1994, and started the deficit tumbling towards zero.

Your statement is in direct contradiction to the historical facts.

You're probably getting your medical care from exactly what she was proposing, ie large HMO"s, as most of us now are. Not getting the plan through under her name was politically the best thing that could have happened to her.
