Heinz, FYI ...... today I had lunch with a journalist from a very well know financial newspaper. In our discussion I mentioned why the FED is erring in their monetary policy regarding interest rates and margin requirements as they did after the LTCM

Further I learned that he was quite shocked about CSCO write off and thinks that BUBBLE mentality is back. I explained them that the analysts making of the hip recommendation or CEO's of companies like CSCO are misinforming about the prospects of the company is criminal as they breach their fiduciary duty to the share holder and more so the law is very strict when it comes to pension funds 401K and IRA.

I think I convinced him that analysts can not hide behind the firm brokers as they are all CFA's and when it comes to retirement money the rule are changing drastically.

He said they write a lengthily article why earnings are not reported as they are and continuously propagate "pro forma number" he read many of my post were I dissected the financial reports and posted on SI.

Will see if it will be published.
