You're dumber than I thought. Or are you just absolutely determined to come up with some argument, however stupid, to keep from admitting you're wrong?

rich, educated people
They got rich AFTER they got here. This is not Palm Springs or Palm Beach; it's not a magnet for rich people from elsewhere. And it's hardly true that everyone here is rich; it's all those managers and engineers making $100,000-$500,000 a year who drive prices up. At least the prices of average homes.

And education does have something to do with it. The Valley has several excellent university; Stanford in particular educated a lot of the people who started a lot of the companies that pour a l.ot of money into the Valley. But they stay here and educated people from other areas come here because of WELL-PAYING JOBS. And that drves prices up. All of them.
