OK Theodore this is what I came up with.

Pickled Eggs

6 hard cooked eggs
4 cloves (24 in all) personally I wouldn't use any
2 cups vinegar
1/2 t ground mustard
1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper

Shell the eggs and stick cloves in the eggs
Boil vinegar
Make a smooth paste of the mustard, salt and pepper with a little cool vinegar and add to the boiling vinegar. Stir for about 1 minute. Put the eggs in a glass fruit jar and pour the boiling vinegar over them. Cover and refrigerate for about 2 weeks. Use with cold cuts and salads. M
