Without asking you to reveal too much about yourself...if your daughter is your only child, that psychic link has been documented before. There seems, from what I've heard, to be particularly noteworthy incidences of that type of premonition or clairvoyance where the bond is between a parent and an only child... Walking away from trouble is something you learn as a kid growing up in the city. But, as you get older, you learn - and not incorrectly - that there are times that you walk away, and times that you don't, particularly in the latter case, in your neighborhood, on your block, or where a family member are involved. That said, other things...like alcohol, peer pressure, a sense of inflated confidence, or perhaps just failure to recognize the differences between a "worthy" situation in one place and an "unworthy" one elsewhere...lead to the kind of stomping which was graciously administered to me that day. I'm still very confident and simultaneously cautious, living in and making my way around my beloved NYC, but I don't elude myself into thinking, or believing, that the way of carrying oneself here is the way to avoid trouble, or properly react to it, in Chicago, LA, or Atlanta, for example. :) LPS5
