Interestingly, to me, at least, lately it's not M3 that's growing, it's M2. The weekly Fed data backs M1 out of M2 and M2 out of M3, and clearly the growth lately isn't in M1 or M3, it's M2. My guess would be that it's due to people avoiding the stock market, BWDIK?

Non financial commercial paper outstandings continue to plummet.

Yield spread between Fed funds rate and 10 year bond widened today. The Fed cut rates .50 BP yesterday and the yield on the 10 year bond went up today (not to mention the 30 year). Not good, gentlemen, not good.

NYC... interesting that vol staying high... it's tough to buy in the stocks where you really need it. When the BK comes, few will own pooots or be short... many will be looking north, sounds like now.
