When I put in the ME CD in an attempt to reinstall w/o uninstalling first, i got mystified by the first page, the three buttons. Also, I am able to defrag in Safe Mode, and it isn't as though anything were going wrong except the defrag problem. <<<Hint: Boot with Step by Step Confirmation and skip the last few Windows drivers. (The Symantec ones.) (Of course you'll need to skip none once, just to determine which ones are last.)... >>> I don't know what you are telling me. Or maybe what I don't know is why you're telling me that. Is it about defragging in Safe Mode? or booting ME to DOS to run NDD? I am going to uninstall and reinstall NSW.
