I won't. Clearly, it's not a possibility for me. When I put in the ME CD in an attempt to reinstall w/o uninstalling first, i got mystified by the first page, the three buttons.

Also, I am able to defrag in Safe Mode, and it isn't as though anything were going wrong except the defrag problem.

I don't know what you are telling me. Or maybe what I don't know is why you're telling me that. Is it about defragging in Safe Mode? or booting ME to DOS to run NDD?

I am going to uninstall and reinstall NSW.
