Well, Peach gets the credit for CORV...I just followed her lead (note the stockpicking portfolio in the intro message of the thread). But, I was smart enough to pay attention to her pick when it pulled back.

The 18 month upgrade cycle was for one company and I certainly didn't do any research to back up my speculation. But I think that 18-24 months is a safe assumption. The real key is that there was definitely extra spending in the 2nd half of 1999 so that all equipment was assured of being Y2K compliant. Actually, I may have to change that a little, there was a lockdown in computer installations/upgrades starting on Oct 1, 1999, so it may have been even more compressed.
